Finding beauty in nature, peace in creating, and more time for the things that matter most.
Spring & Ivy Botanical Casts was born from a desire to preserve more than just the fleeting beauty of nature. It was born from a desire to reclaim a sense of peace, relish in creativity, and build a life with more room for the things that truly matter.
A lifelong lover of nature and art, Tara Cottle has always been a self-proclaimed "serial hobbyist." From one creative pursuit to the next, she's never been one to shy away from learning something new or collecting an arguably unreasonable number of art supplies.
What began as a quiet way to unwind after long, demanding workdays quickly became something more. There was something captivating about preserving the delicate details of flowers and foliage, capturing the tiny imperfections and intricate textures that so easily go unnoticed.
After years of pouring countless hours into a demanding career, Tara realized that the life she was working so hard to build was leaving precious little time to actually enjoy it. She wanted more afternoons exploring nature with her family, slower days, more time creating, and fewer evenings spent behind a computer.
Spring & Ivy grew from that realization, bringing together a love of nature and art with a desire to live a little more intentionally.
Today, each botanical relief is thoughtfully created by hand using real flowers and foliage, preserving a small, fleeting moment in nature as a lasting piece of art and serving as a reminder to slow down, find beauty in the smallest details, and make time for what matters most.
